■About the credit card payment for online shopping sites in Japan.
We apply the system, Authorization which is a credit reference system. When you purchase the product, the system will confirm the credit company about the credit line. It holds certain amount like deposit, and it looks like you are charged, however this is a temporary settlement, and it will be canceled. After we calculate the total amount including the shipping fee and the taxexemption, we will procedure the payment with the final amount. The first payment cancellation can take anywhere from two to four weeks, depending on your credit card company.
